Juried arts, crafts show to be
BAR HARBOR - The women artisans of Designing Women will display their handmade arts and crafts at a juried show and sale 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, at the Atlantic Oakes Convention Center.
Juicy Couture Charm NecklaceFeatured artists include quilter Jo Diggs of Portland, glass blower Linda Perrin of Ellsworth and handbag designer and maker Pam LeBlanc of Kennebunkport.
Smart Controller LD-SM-12-X A $2 donation at the door benefits the YWCA of Mount Desert Island. Lunch will be available for purchase, and proceeds also will benefit the YWCA of MDI.
Designing Women is a
embroidered patches nonprofit volunteer corporation established in 1991 which sponsors shows featuring female artisans from New England. It works directly with organizations that benefit women and girls.
